Miqdaad Dohadwala is a Dubai-based stand-up comedian, host, writer and producer. He’s also the founder of Mad Cat Comedy, because apparently performing comedy wasn’t stressful enough, so he decided to produce it too.
Over the years, he’s performed across in all sorts of places - Including sold out shows in the UAE, India, Thailand, Bahrain, Oman, The Phillipines, appeared on television atleast 3 times, hosted major corporate events and opened for comedians including Vir Das, Zakir Khan, Schalk Bezoundheit, Kenny Sebastian and Jason Manford.
Through Mad Cat Comedy, he produces regular stand-up shows across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, along with comedy workshops, corporate shows and the occasional event that seemed like a much better idea when somebody first suggested it.
Before comedy took over his life, Miqdaad spent years working in marketing, content and digital media. He’s also been teaching marketing and media since 2016, which means he has both the qualifications and professional experience to understand exactly why nobody watched your last Instagram Reel.
He performs stand-up, hosts corporate events, teaches comedy and produces shows.
Outside of being an incredibly good-looking overachiever, he remains very humble.
Drop him a message through Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, carrier pigeon or by approaching him after a show while he’s desperately trying to pack cables.
